Teeth Whitening Frequently Asked Questions

Bling Teeth Gel's 22% carbamide peroxide will produce dramatic results after the first treatment.
How long will my teeth stay white?
Many stains bleach out permanently and last for months to years. However it may become stained again due to smoking, red wine, tea, cola etc. But one or two sessions with Bling whitening gel will give you back your beautiful white smile. In order to maintain the whitest tooth shade possible, it is best to avoid substances like coffee, tea, red wine and tobacco.
Is the Bling System simple to use and how long is the treatment?
Yes! Your custom formed trays fit comfortably into your mouth and are designed to hold our professional strength teeth whitening gel securely in place. Usually dramatic results are seen after a one hour treatment. However, for extreme stains we recommend a dosage of a one hour application per day for 5 consecutive days. There is no need to wear the teeth whitening trays overnight as recommended by some systems because the whitening effect of our professional teeth whitening gel is maximized within one hour. It's that simple.
How Safe is This?
Dentists have known for years that teeth whitening or teeth bleaching which is done with teeth whitening trays is a fast, safe and predictable way to whiten teeth 8-10 shades in a matter of days. Most dentists charge between $400 and $500 dollars for this treatment and it is worth it. Chances are you know someone who has whitened their teeth and gotten great results.
Can tooth whitening damage my teeth or gums?
Substantial clinical and laboratory research has shown that tooth whitening gel has no adverse effects on teeth or gums if used properly.
Are Crest White Strips® just as effective and easy to use?
NO! Crest White Strips® are self-adhesive plastic strips that are designed to stick to the teeth and release teeth whitening gel. Do they work? Well sort of. First, most users find them difficult to properly position and keep in place for the recommended time. Second, they must be used twice a day for up to four weeks. Third, they only cover the front six teeth and don't fit large, small or crooked teeth properly. They can help whiten the front teeth but your smile becomes "two toned". Look in a mirror. When you smile you show teeth behind the canines. With White Strips® the teeth behind the canines stay dark making the smile two different shades, dark and light. This is not the case with the Bling System that treats all the teeth uniformly.
Can I whiten if my teeth are sensitive?
You can use Bling Teeth Whitening System even if you have sensitive teeth . You help alleviate sensitivity by wearing the Whitening Gel for a shorter period of time as you begin whitening treatment. Using Sensodyne toothpaste in conjunction with the Bling Teeth Whitening System can also reduce tooth sensitivity.
Who can use the Bling Teeth Whitening System?
Just about anyone who wants a more confident, vibrant smile. However, teeth whitening has not been tested on pregnant or lactating women or recommended for children under age 14.
If I am pregnant or nursing, should I use this product?
